WikiLeaks Reveals US Government Willing to Fix Food Prices for Global GMO Acceptance

Why is the United States government so eager to force GMO crops on nations around the world? That's an easy question to answer. Power!

You see the United States government has worked with Monsanto to develop terminator seeds. Terminator seeds are seed that don't yield fertile seeds from their crops. It's obvious that if you control the food supply around the world, you have the ultimate power--even more so than with oil. It appears the United States is playing that card.

A new WikiLeak cable shows the United States government was ready to fix prices in 2008 to force more countries to adopt genetically modified foods into their agriculture programs.

In a January 2008 meeting, US and Spain trade officials strategized how to increase acceptance of genetically modified foods in Europe, including inflating food prices on the commodities market, according to a leaked US diplomatic cable released by WikiLeaks.

During the meeting, Secretary of State for International Trade, Pedro Mejia, and Secretary General, Alfredo Bonet “noted that commodity price hikes might spur greater liberalization on biotech imports.”
