FuelEconomy.GOV Web Site Promotes Imports in Carbon Lie: Where are the American Cars

You would think when the government owns a large share of General Motors and is owed billions by American car manufacturers in bailouts, they would take the time to promote American products. Not so at the FuelEconomy.gov Web site, where the carbon lies continue with a misleading formula about CO2 output of a gallon of gasoline, which I have been promised an article describing later.

When you click to enlarge the image of this government Web site, you will notice four cars in the upper right banner area. While it's hard to tell, I don't see any car featured on this particular page that represents a product from America's Big Three. They all look like imports to me. Sad! Isn't it?
