BBCW's Wacky Liberal of the Year 2010 7th Place: Big Sis Janet Napolitano and The Americans Who Support Her

I don't think there is an American is despise more than Janet Napolitano in 2010. She is the face of the new American police state and obviously has America confused with George Orwell's Oceania, because as we learned late this year, she is working with companies like Walmart to put her Big Brother message in checkout lines using video monitors, among other Orwellian prophecies.

I have grown doubtful of the terrorist threats against the United States this year. We have instances that seem to justify Napolitano's attempts to kill the Fourth Amendment like the Christmas Tree bomber in Portland, Oregon. Can you say false flag? That's not what the federal government is calling it. The Department of Homeland Security working with other federal law agencies charged the Christmas Tree bomber with a weapon of mass destruction charge. There was just one problem, the weapon was a dummy bomb. Could you imagine the outrage from liberals if a George W. Bush administration went so far to name something a WMD?

The US Attorney's Office issued the following statement after Mahamed Osman Mohamud, the Christmas Tree Bomber, was arrested:

"The device was in fact inert, and the public was never in danger."

Now the Napolitano's Departartment of Homeland Security, the new American Gestapo, is warning us salad bars are the next target for radical Islamic terrorists. How far away are we before we have to get groped and irradiated before going into Hooter's or TGIFs?

And so the police state conditioning begins. They get Americans to line up and without giving any of them time to figure out they are guilty before being proven innocent and have Fourth Amendment rights, they get you to automatically answer their questions without hesitation as they pat you down touching your genitalia or forcing you to go through one of their naked full body scanners.

That brings up the other half of the Wacky Liberal of the Year Award. If you are an American who is willing to give up your rights and liberties for this false illusion of security, you are just as wacky and as wrong as the head of the new American gestapo herself, Janet Napolitano. For instance, The Heritage Foundation's Jena Baker McNeil writing for a conservative organization is included as a new member of Bungalow Bill's Wacky Liberal of the years for calling for more intrusive technology to violate American's Fourth Amendment Right. Congratulations Jena, you have single handedly destroyed all the good things I have thought about the Heritage Foundation.

There were average Americans walking through airports giving the state fun media the sound bites they wanted throughout all of this as well, sound bites like we would rather be safe than worry about someone seeing me naked. Hey, just rip up the Constitution while you are going through your naked body scan you idiots!

There were Americans protesting as well. Ready to take on the TSA and make a statement. Maybe it wasn't all serious, but the message resonated in political ciricles none the less and further exposed what was going on at airports this year. Take the LAX bikini girl Corrine Theile , who showed up at the line in a bikini after being fed up of the TSA asking her to take off her clothes every time she went to the airports.

Then there was John Tyner who stood up the TSA telling them he wouldn't let them molest him as the TSA agent told him they were going to place their hand near his groin. He was the guy who said, "you touch my junk, I am going to have you arrested." He wasn't allowed to fly because he didn't allow the TSA to feel him up.

DHS announced they would proceed with a criminal investigation of Tyner after the incident. That's right, they were considering pressing charges all because he stood up for his Fourth Amendment Right. Can you believe that standing up for your Constitutional Rights in 2010 in American can lead to a criminal investigation? I know I tried it at a DUI checkpoint and they were quickly ready to move in on me, labeling me a 316 (street disturbance/demonstration). The only thing I asked was what probable cause did they have to justify pulling me over.

This is American 2010, a police state under the watchful eyes of Janet Napolitano who obviously doesn't care much for our Constitution. She has her enemies list, pushes her propaganda in ways George Orwell reminds us of, and even intimidates some high-profile Web sites that speak out against her, the DHS, and the TSA. The problem is, our Founding Fathers would have taken up arms against such oppression as one of them clearly stated those who give up liberty for security deserve neither. This is not what the Founding Fathers envisioned. Thanks to the Patriot Act and Janet Napolitano, we have turned what was left of the Republic the Founders gave us and turned it into the American police state, perhaps one of the most oppressive police states in the world today. The problem is most people don't want to see it because we still celebrate the Fourth of July and are told we are free. Look at what's happening around you and ask yourself is this really freedom.

I predict that something will happen in the next 48 hours during the Christmas holiday that will further fuel Napolitano's Fourth Amendment killing fire.
