Pat Robertson Starting to Sound like John Lennon During John Sinclair's Lock Up

Before there was Watergate, there was John Lennon and John Sinclair. Sinclair was a Michigan hippie that sold two joints to an undercover police officer in Ann Arbor and wound up getting ten years in prison. John Lennon rallied support to release Sinclair from prison, which led to Richard Nixon propping Lennon up as a political adversary placed on the Nixon enemies list.

Nixon saw the how the crowd at a concert for John Sinclair responded to Lennon, and knowing 18-21 year olds were given the right to vote, Tricky Dick reached into his bag of tricks and began wire tapping and following Lennon while also pulling his visa.  It's really just another wacky tale out of John Lennon and Richard Nixon's lives.

Now Pat Robertson is sounding a lot like John Lennon these days. He is calling for marijuana to be decriminalized stating its wrong to imprison someone for up to ten years for using marijuana. While he isn't advocating the use of marijuana, he says the current laws ruin young people for possessing a few ounces.
