Another Wussy Cop Shoots a Family Dog: Clayton County Police Kills Golden Retriever

Earlier this year, I expressed my opinion about a cop who pulled his pistol out to shoot a charging dog. The dog wasn't a Doberman or Pit Bull. The dog was a small Dotson, showing once again the actions of today's police officers are questionable, and often down right mean. How a 175-200 pound donut-filled police officer could be scared of a Dotson enough to draw his weapon and put the neighborhood at risk from gun fire is beyond me, but it happened. There are more and more stories of officers drawing their weapons against the family dog.

Now, we have another obviously low IQ, wussy cop killing the family dog with his weapon. A Clayton County, Georgia cop shot a family dog who barked at the officer. The dog was a Golden Retriever, an breed worthy of giving the species the title of man's best friend. All it took was Boomer to start barking and running towards the officer, which dogs do for attention, for him to draw his weapon and fire, ending Boomer's life.

“He’s a golden retriever," Lawrene King said. "He barks, but he’s never bitten anyone.”

The officer was patrolling the neighborhood on foot after receiving a phone call that someone was selling meat in the back of a pickup truck. This "if you see something, say something" BS has got to end. You know your neighborhood's going down hill when you see someone selling meat from a pickup truck. Good grief! Have you ever been to Maine? They sell Lobsters like that in Maine.

A neighbor who was watching this saw Boomer jump off the porch and run towards the officer. According to the neighbor, the police officer immediately grabbed his gun rather than give any time to analyze the situation, and Boomer was dead.

"My neighbor saw the whole thing," King said. "He was shocked how quickly the officer pulled his gun."

King has six kids, and they are all having to deal with the grief of this idiot police officer putting the neighborhood at risk by drawing his weapon and shooting in the neighborhood at the family dog. The mother wasn't at home when it happened, but the 19 year old son was screaming and crying when he gave her the news.

"Mom! He killed my dog," King said her son screamed.

See as a dog owner, I know my Kayleigh would have done the same thing. That's why I am concerned. I also know if she ran up to a cop she would meet the cop with her wet tongue and not her teeth. I wouldn't say much about one dog, but this is becoming a frequent occurrence in communities across the nation, and while our brave men and women at the post office deal with dogs daily, our cops are making some really poor decisions and the same story is being told dog after dog.

Perhaps, in police state America, low IQ of officers is a requirement so they don't question their orders to violate your rights. That's why we are getting more stories of grown men afraid of dogs of good nature, drawing their weapons quickly on the family dog.
