Aggression 24/7: Jared Loughner Posted on Internet Message Boards Questions About Aggression and Prison

Posting messages to Internet message boards is not a crime providing no threats are made. So it's no wonder that there were clues into the sick mind of Jared Loughner that went unchecked by those who frequented the message boards Loughner posted to.

Loughner frequented gaming message boards, which specialize id video game discussions. Those who watched his post saw this mentally deranged man post frustrations with life, women, and jobs.

One of the questions Loughner posted to the message boards, titled "Aggression 24/7," asked, "Does anyone have aggression 24/7?" and "If you went to prison right now...What would you be thinking?"

Zane Gutierrez, a 21 year old who watched this progress on the message boards, said, ""He was a nihilist and loves causing chaos, and that is probably why he did the shooting, along with the fact he was sick in the head."

Chaos did follow Loughner. The New York Times reports campus police were called five times to remove Loughner from class after sever disruptions.

Doesn't this sound like the profile of the Virginia Tech shooter? Like the Virginia Tech shooter, could this have been stopped had someone at the school worked harder with authorities to see Loughner's mental health was treated? The teachers at both schools tell a similar story.
