Dennis Kucinich Sues the House Cafeteria over Olive Pit: Liberalism Shines in the Courts

Congressman Dennis Kucinich has followed the path of Americans hoping to financially benefit from the risks of eating and drinking. Over the past ten years, we have seen companies like McDonald's sued for crimes like serving hot coffee. Remember the lady that was burned by the coffee when she spilled it in her car while she was driving. Oh, yeah, she thought that was McDonald's evil plot against her, so she took it to the courts. Now Kucinich follows.

Three years ago, Kucinch was eating at the House Offices Cafeteria, a place where Congressman Billy Long can be frequently seen at these days. Kucinich claims he bit into an olive pit while eating a sandwich rap. In court documents filed in Superior Court in Washington, Kucinich claims he "sustained serious and permanent dental and oral injuries requiring multiple surgical and dental procedures, and has sustained other damages as well, including significant pain, suffering and loss of enjoyment.”

He is looking for $150,000 in damages. Good grief! I think he needs to find a new dentist. If he was charged more than $2500 for a root canal and crown after his Congressional insurance kicked in then he obviously got ripped off.

So basically what we have here is a sitting Congressman using the courts playing the victim card to redistribute wealth. There are risks that come with eating.
