Congress Critters like Billy Long Fueling Obama's Gun Grabbing Speech and Plans

If Obama gets his way, pre-pubescent boys won't get
to pack heat while riding their horses with their little
poodles on back like Billy Long did when he was
an awkward child without friends. (Perhaps the FBI needs
to do a psychological profile.)
When Congressman Billy Long's office decided to use the FBI to silence a blogger, he played a dangerous game with the Second Amendment. In the aftermath of the Tuscon shootings that injured Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Long exposed a witch hunt that was based on vendettas to silence political enemies who never threatened--only criticized.

On NBC, after the State of the Union address on Tuesday night, Brian Williams hosted a handful of liberals who were upset with Obama. Their beef? Obama should have used the State of the Union address to push gun control. They said he missed the opportunity. Never fear, Williams assured the American public that a gun control speech was coming. Never once did I hear the words Gabrielle Giffords is pro Second Amendment offered.

So like other politicians like Congressman Billy Long who has used the tragedy for political gain, Obama will soon begin the feared gun-grabbing campaign fueled by arguments in Congress from both Democrats and Republican. Most Americans knew this was coming, but it obviously needed the pathos of tragedy for Obama to get on path. The truth is, it's really quite rare for a member of Congress to be attacked. Sure it's happened a few times, but its been 60 years since the last major tragedy. I'd say politicians like Billy Long have a better chance of getting struck by lighting or killing themselves at a Casino's buffet. When was your last heart attack Mr. Long? (A long-time employee of Mr. Long's claims Long has already had one bypass surgery, but obviously hasn't done much work to prevent a second.)

So when Congressman Long decided to use the tragedy in Tuscon to intimidate his most vocal critic, a blogger who only asked Long tough questions the media wasn't asking, he only fueled Obama's gun grabbing crusade by bringing more attention to the Tuscon tragedy. As more and more Congress critters were ready to kick the Second Amendment, including a few Republicans, Long took advantage of the shootings hoping he could get a few bloggers off his back by listing them as dangerous. Anytime, the FBI is sent out in this manner, it's not only a form of federal abuse, it reinforces Obama's argument.

Mr. Long, you have a responsibility as an advocate of the Second Amendment not to feed the fire of gun control. You failed in your responsibility in your first week in office by drawing more attention to the act that Obama is going to mount his attack against the Second Amendment with.
