First Billy Long and now Christine McCaffrey (American Idol)

The first thing out of Christine McCaffrey's mouth is "I'm from Springfield, MO," even though she currently resides in West Palm Beach. It was soon followed by some high pitched, deafening screeching. Good gravy what is it with these people that continue to push back the advances in culture Springfield has made in recent years for this hillbilly nonsense. Yes, that's how American Idol kicked off tonight, setting Springfield back once again to the hillbilly dark ages.
