Dead Red Wing Blackbirds also Found in Kentucky

Kentucky is now reporting the strange deaths of the red-winged blackbirds that have also been falling out of the sky by the thousands in Arkansas and Louisiana. A woman reported to authorities of dozens of birds in her yard as she walked to get her mail.

Over 3000 birds have been estimated now dead in Kentucky, which means over ten thousand birds now are estimated to have died in Arkansas, Louisiana, and now Kentucky. Scientists believe a storm had something to do with it in Kentucky.

In fact, 3,000 blackbirds seemed to fall from the sky there- starting last Friday. Autopsies have since ruled out poisoning. One top biologist from Cornell University said the birds were "....probably asleep in a single tree when a washing machine-type thunderstorm sucked them up into the air, disoriented them, and even fatally soaked and chilled them."

Not buying it. Remember in Arkansas, thousands of fish have also perished.
