92 Republicans Voted Against Meager Spending Cuts in HR1

Ah Jeez! Are you paying attention. Republicans aren't serious about reducing the national debt. Not only could they arrive at the meager $100 billion in spending cuts (they managed to come up with only $61 billion), but a large group of Republicans decided they aren't even that serious about cutting spending. Trust me, the Republicans who voted for HR1 without meeting their $100 billion goal aren't very serious either.

There were 92 Republicans who voted against HR1. Here are the list of Republicans who didn't even want to cut the federal budget just a wee tiny bit. Folks, $61 billion is nothing when you are talking three and four trillion dollar budgets. Here are the list, and hey Missouri, since Jo Ann Emerson, who may want to be your next Senator, decided she wasn't willing to even cut the budget by $61 billion. Also note young gun Eric Cantor voted against these meager spending cuts. I get a bad feeling the Republicans have shown their true colors with HR1.
