Obamacare Gets Funded in 2011 According to Democrat's New $1.1 Trillion Spending Bill

Republicans huge election victory in the House of Representatives came with the promise of repealing Obamacare. While they know they can't repeal anytime soon as long as Barack Obama is in the White House and owns a veto pen, the GOP made another promise to voters. They would not fund Obamacare. I wouldn't count too much on any promise of the GOP right now. It seems they are too ready to compromise with Obama and have already broken their promise to reduce spending with the Bush tax cut extension compromise with Obama, which promises another $900 billion in stimulus.

As of right now, it looks like Obamacare could be funded in 2011 thanks to the Democrats surprise $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill. Of course this is because the Democrats in the House still control the purse strings and they are in power until January, and this is on top of any budget set forth for 2011 as well. Have these people no sense of fiscal responsibility?

The Hill Reports:

Senate Democrats have filed a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill that would fund the government through fiscal year 2011, according to Senate GOP sources.

The 1,924-page bill includes funding to implement the sweeping healthcare reform bill Congress passed earlier this year as well as additional funds for Internal Revenue Service agents, according to a senior GOP aide familiar with the legislation.
