The TSA is now confiscating Christmas calendars. An older woman says she bought an expensive German Kinder advent calendar. This is one of those calendars that is exclusive to the month of December to count down the days until Christmas. Each day you open a part of the calendar and there is a small gift or piece of candy inside. It turns out the TSA considered the calendar dangerous and confiscated it.
According to the woman, she tried to ship it back to the United States while on vacation in Germany. The calendar never arrived. Rather, she received a letter from the Department of Homeland Security stating the calendar contained small toys that could be a choking hazard to children.
