Billy Long may like it when Obama starts pointing out China is superior to America. |
So basically that means Southwest Missouri is left with meaningless sound bites. I don't even think Long knows what he is saying when he says it. Take for instance this from KSMU's Michele Skalicky:
Congressman Billy Long says he usually agrees with 80% of what the president says and disagrees with 80% of what he does. Long said, ‘quote,’ “I’m from the Show-Me State, so Mr. President, it is time for you to show me.
As a conservative, I wonder what President Long is listening too. I can't imagine listening to Obama calling myself a conservative while he builds up communists countries as better than America these days, talks about how great his healthcare law is, tells how Republicans are going to deny people healthcare because they are mean, attack every conservative principle that I hold dear, and then make a mocker of our Constitution by actually having the nerve to make a joke of the TSA groping genitals at the airport, and then say I usually agree with 80% of what Obama says. Good grief Billy Long, are you even listening to what he says or are you too busy tweeting and thinking about the buffet at the nearest DC casino?
So you don't like 80% of what he does, but he hasn't hidden what he says and what he does. He came out and said he would work to bankrupt the coal industry, and he nearly got cap and trade passed. Do you think his words are cute Mr. Long?
I still haven't figured out why Southwest Missouri isn't paying attention to the village idiot they sent to Washington. In this anti-Obama environment that sent the Democrats packing in the mid-term elections, all of Long's opponents were staunchly against Obamacare, while Billy Long was pointing all the good things he liked about Obamacare.
I know I didn't hear 80% of good coming from Obama's mouth on Tuesday night during the State of the Union.
