Obama Funny Money Coming to Kansas City's Poor Thanks to Emanuel Cleaver

Remember these fools in Detroit, Michigan, hoping to get some Obama funny money?

Residents of Kansas City may soon be making similar quotes thanks to an earmark by Emanuel Cleaver (D, MO-5).

Cleaver's office states of the earmark, "The Epicenter is a proposed estimated $48 billion (Phase One) mass scale urban reclamation project for combating, reducing, reversing and/or eliminating poverty within under served communities by utilizing mass scale economic redevelopment to bring about stability and self reliance."

But Cleaver's earmark is actually the idea of Lamar Mickens, president of the not-for-profit Quality Day Campus. It was Mickens idea to redistribute wealth to the inner cities through this earmark to give money the poor so they can go out and buy things with it. You know free Obama/Cleaver money for new flat screen 3-D televisions for the housing projects.

Good grief!
