Hiking Ozark's Bluff Spring Trail: An Easy Hike

Hidden directly behind the Ozark Community Center and just off the new walking trail is a series of trails perfect for novice hikers called the Bluff Spring Trail. Too cold to go to Busiek today, I woke up early before going to church to hike the 1.2 mile loop (or shorter) if you choose in the frigid cold temperatures including a five to ten below zero wind chill. The tree line offered protection from the wind to offer a nice pleasant recovery hike along the Finley River.

It only takes 20 to 40 minutes to hike the flat trail. It's definitely a low impact trail perfect to avoid joggers and crowds on the more preferred concrete trail that you use to access Bluff Spring. With snow on the ground today, it was perfect to experience just enough chill and get the heart rate up before chowing down on some NFL munchies later today.

GO BEARS! Beat the Patriots. Let's hope Brian Urlacher shows Tom Brady what it really means to be a pretty boy quarterback in the NFL today.
