Detroit, Michigan 2010: Razor Wire Everywhere

An article in the Wall Street Journal over the weekend talks about the plight of Detroit and how the city can be rebuilt. (Don't hold your breath.) The article outlines how Mayor Dave Bing will reconfigure Detroit based on its declining population and poor fiscal health.

To give you an idea of what Detroit looks like in 2010, check out the picture the WSJ used. It's Detroit's Michigan Central Station, the old train station (remember Obama wants to rebuild the nation's rail system with high-speed trains) with razor wire to keep thugs out.

What a sad symbol of a once great city that really has fallen because of liberalism--unions, environmental standards, and building products that aren't the best because there is a safety net.
