What Billy Long Really Said at Lincoln Day in Joplin

Funny, it wasn't too long ago Billy Long said at a GOP event, politicians in Washington spend too much time focused on reelection? Have you been watching Long closely since about ten days after he won his seat to Congress? It's been putting a new team together, fund raisers, and even his verbiage has changed. While he has failed to live up to a few of his promises already, reelection seems to be one of his main focuses. Listen to what he told the Newton County Lincoln Day attendees.

The Fuse Joplin writes, "Congressman Billy Long called on attendees to get involved now, in order to win in 2012."

This is hillBILLY talk. Let me tell you from experience what this means. It means you best not challenge Billy Long in anyway, whether that means politically, on the issues, qualifications, or on character. For if you choose to challenge Mr. Long in 2012 and throw your support, let's say behind someone more qualified for the office, let's say like Jack Goodman, Jeff Wisdom, Willy Lynch, Michael Wardell, or someone who still remains quiet (there are many Republicans who aren't thrilled with Billy and Southwest Missouri has growing concerns) who actually understands and upholds the Constitution, you might wind up on Billy Long's enemies list. The cost of ending up on that list could be a visit from the FBI with trumped up charges from Long's office.

Just thought that needs to be explained.
