First it's pure American muscle with its powerful V-10 engine, an exotic car designed originally by Carroll Shelby. Like the Gadsden Flag, the Viper represents a snake ready to strike.
But on the other hand, the Viper is built by Chrysler, which is one of the American car companies that got a bailout. I guess that's the sad part of this car's history.
