Howard Dean: "It's the Government's Job to Redistribute the Wealth"

I have been looking for it in the Constitution. I can't find it. I looked really hard too, but it's simply not there. That hasn't stopped Howard Dean from stating the most offensive thing I have ever heard a liberal try to pass off as the job of the federal government. Take a listen:



It's the federal government's job to redistribute wealth? Seriously, Mr. Dean? You must have gotten brain damage from that bicycle wreck during those few short miles you rode RAGBRAI. Do you remember me passing by you ?

Just because Howard Dean has brain damage, let's review what Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1816:

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”
