| Tera Sukman, founder of the neocon Tea Party Patriot HQ |
"In my home district, we've been tea party before tea party was cool. There's a Tea Party Patriots headquarters in Branson and they've been very supportive," said Congressman Long. "The tea party isn't a party. There's no head of it. But they know how to send out emails."
Eating it up aren't you Tera, but let's look at the facts:
1. Billy Long skipped the reading of the Constitution to meet with DC lobbyists.
2. Billy Long has already abused his federal powers by pursuing a political enemies list and using the FBI to threaten the First Amendment.
3. Billy Long voted to extend the Fourth Amendment and Fifth Amendment killing Patriot Act, which allows the federal government to spy on people without a warrant.
4. Billy Long has co-sponsored legislation that expands the size of government through the Department of Homeland Security and creates a citizen spy network (If You See Something Say Something Act of 2011).
5. Billy Long tells charities they have a friend in Washington, even though he has not Constitutional authority to support and promise charities a thing. Federal support of charities is not charity--it's tyranny when our tax dollars are used to fund charity.
So Ms. Sukman, can we have a statement condemning Billy Long for his anti-Constitutional positions? Ah jeez! We have barely had this guy a month, and look at the damage he is causing. If we don't get a statement Ms. Sukman, then it's obvious your organization, The Tea Party Patriot HQ of Branson is a fraud and could care less about upholding the Constitution of the United States.
