Speaker Boehner Promises $100 Billion in Spending Cut Promise Will be Met Next Week

John Boehner speaking at CPAC promised the crowd the Republicans will deliver their $100 billion in spending cuts next week. I can't figure out what took so long and why this has been so hard considering they appeared to have a plan when the presented the Pledge to America. Yet, many of us have been left scratching our heads over the $32 billion Paul Ryan delivered last week. Apparently their was no plan to begin with.

What amazes me is why do House Republicans think this is some kind of achievement? Seriously, when the federal government spends on average $300 billion per month, this is really a joke in my opinion, especially when you consider all the entitlement and subsidy programs that are nothing more than redistribution of wealth schemes that could be cut.

Furthermore, we have Senator Rand Paul in the Senate coming up with $500 billion in cuts, which is significantly more than the House plan? Why aren't House Republicans thinking more like Rand Paul?
