Billy Long on the Right Side of HR519: Force the UN to Refund the US

Congressman Long's votes this week were less than impressive considering he did vote against the Constitution in favor of the Patriot Act. However Billy Long did get it right when he voted yea for HR 519.

HR 519 is known as the United Nations Tax Equilization Act. HR519 would have forced the U.N. to return U.S. funds it already allocated to ‘hardening’ the U.N. headquarters situated at 42nd Street and the traffic-laden FDR Drive.

Unfortunately the bill failed.
