"If we're fighting to reform the tax code and increase exports, the benefits cannot just translate into greater profits and bonuses for those at the top. They have to be shared by American workers, who need to know that opening markets will lift their standard of living as well as your bottom line," President Obama told the Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning.
Profits have to be shared? I think the only thing these corporations owe their employees is the check for the time served--nothing more, nothing less. It sure sounds like Obama doesn't believe that to be the case. If a company makes a profit, it sounds like Obama wants to regulate that company to turning that profit over to the people who haven't invested in the company. This sounds like redistribution of wealth to me.
